Do I need technical knowledge to use initdesk?
No. Link your current support email to initdesk, name your organization, and start receiving tickets. No technical knowledge required for the basic setup. Check how to get started.
Is there a trial period?
Yes. There's a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, if no subscription is active, your organization may move to limited access until you upgrade. Free or trial organizations can later be deleted after the inactivity window described in our Terms of Service.
How much does initdesk cost?
Pricing starts at $14.90/mo and includes up to 500 valid tickets. After that, each additional 250-ticket block adds $6.49/mo. Unlimited users, unlimited inboxes, and AI are included. Tickets marked as Spam or Invalid do not count. See pricing details.
Does initdesk integrate with other tools?
Yes. You can use our "Bring Your Own Data" plugin to connect internal systems and show custom customer data in the ticket panel. That same context can also be used by AI replies. initdesk supports webhooks, and we're building native integrations. Tell us which tools you need: support@initdesk.com
Can I display my own data in the ticket panel?
Yes. With BYOD (Bring Your Own Data), you can connect any API endpoint to display custom data directly in the ticket sidebar. Customer plans, billing status, order history, or usage metrics can show up next to the conversation and give AI the same context your team uses to reply.
Can I migrate from my current help desk?
Yes. We'd like to understand which platform you use today and help evaluate the best way to migrate your conversation history, inboxes, and workflows safely.
